What would you like to receive in a gift basket?

AND what do you look for when you do buy a gift basket?





who do you normally buy gift baskets for...if you never bought a gift basket, what kind of gift (preferably bought online) do you buy for your loved ones, coworkers, gf/bf etc...





would you like pretty, not very useful things? food (cookies etc.)? useful things such as a spa set (robe, slippers etc) ? lotions?

What would you like to receive in a gift basket?
Useful things. After my most stressful quarter, my husband got me a basket with champagne, bubble bath, and a soft music CD. It was the best!
Reply:I usually go with lotions and bath stuff but that really takes little imagination. Think of the person your getting for and be creative. If u don't know em to well than try a movie gift basket, Popcorn, a blanket, a couple of movies, maybe some movie passes, or a rental card to the video store so they can pick their own. Have fun with it. U could also theme it to the event, For baby showers i always do a memories basket with photo albums, picture frames, and some disposable cameras! If u do food, make it damn good, cuz food is over done, think sweet treats that u normally wouldn't by for yourself, or try old favorites theme, with candy's like pez, hershey and baby ruth.
Reply:When I purchase a gift basket for someone, I look for items that I might use myself. Car washing items for guys are a great idea. Animal lovers might like wipes, toys, snacks, etc. Bakers like to receive pot holders, timers, cookie sheets, etc. Movie lovers like to receive certificates for movie rentals, movie tickets, popcorn, etc. Gift basket ideas are endless. If you are considering going in to the gift basket business, there are many websites to help you.
Reply:movie passes, old fashion candy ,popcorn, soda in glass bottles .anything hard to find, i hate the stupid lotion baskets it's something i let collect dust than give to the thirft store... i like funny sex baskets dirty movies ky and some naughty toys
Reply:i lyke lotions, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, colognes, mostly bath needs, b/c i spend a lot of tyme in the shower.
Reply:I love getting them, I never give them; and I like them full of food or toiletries that I'd never treat myself to.
Reply:I always imagined a gift basket with small pre packaged foods [i.e. cookies, chips, candies], I like it that way.





You could also throw in random trinkets based on the recipient's likes for a personal touch.
