If a gift basket what are your favorite items inside? Do you prefer food or non-edible things?
Which would you prefer to receive a gift basket or a gift card?
i like gift baskets! if it were given to me i would want some weird christmas perfume, maybe a $20 to $50 gift card to my favourite store(aeropostale!), some candy canes or some sort of christmas candy that isn't chocolate!(i dont like chocolate!) and some sort of jewlery. this may sound expensive but most people spend at least $100 on customized gift baskets.
hope i helped!
Reply:Either one is fine, as long as it's a basket of items I like, or a gift card for a store I shop at. There's nothing worse than someone buying a gift basket based on what they like, instead of what you like. You end up with a bunch of useless stuff. My mom did that to my husband and I one year. She bought us this huge basket and filled it with food that you buy at stores like Home Goods and TJ Maxx. We ended up giving most of it away. Not only was the gift not personal, it made me feel like an employee to receive a gift basket from my mom.
Reply:I would prefer a gift card. The way I see it, you've just given me the gift of shopping.
Reply:A gift card is always the SAFE way to go, but a gift basket is more personal. I would rather have a gift that someone has spend time and thought on instead of "oh yeah, here's $20."
Reply:A gift card is always a safe one. I prefer that, not many people know what I do/don't like to eat from those baskets, and I don't do health and beauty ones. If I could pick a basket it would be fresh Florida oranges.
