What some good items to include in gift baskets?

a nice candle, some fancy food that comes in jars (like from harry %26amp; david), maybe some apples and oranges to decorate it... cookies are always nice, too.

or you could do one that has bath goodies in it, like bath beads, bubble bath, etc.

What some good items to include in gift baskets?
A small flowering potted plant in the centre, surrounded by all the other good stuff as previous answers say
Reply:gift cards/certificates are always good; plus what everybody else said; cookies, tea, coffee etc. tea towels , dish cloths are a good idea too.
Reply:This is such a broad question, it is hard to answer. It always depends on what type of basket you are designing. If you can be more specific, I can help you. I've made gazillions of them when I was a floral designer and had my own home business.I can tell you what to include and how to construct it the professional way. Ask again and be more specific.
Reply:Anything that the person like to do. Books, music, candles, different teas, coffees or cocoas are all good.
Reply:I always sort of "theme" mine. A "rainy day" basket might have tea, a book, a candle, a relaxing CD, and bubble bath. I like giving a basket that can have a day planned around it.
Reply:It depends WHO are you giving the gifts to:

*Fruits

*spa items (towels, bath salt, etc)

*coffee beans, mug and related items

*Home-bake food

*Pajama, with jacket, hat and a teddy bear

(items in the basket are related to each other)
Reply:I agree, there are so many ideas; it depends on what the individual is interested in also. If it's for a baby shower you could add baby lotion, shampoo, pacifiers, bibs, rattles etc.-for chefs, line the basket with a pretty dish towel and add utensils, small cookbooks or recipe cards, spices etc-for someone who sews, all kinds of sewing notions (you could even weave some ribbon through the basket on this one)-for children all kinds of toys appropriate to the child's age and the list can go on and on....
