Putting a gift basket together for my friend who is due this Tuesday, can u help me think of more gift items?

I am making the gift basket just for HER, no baby stuff in it. She can't take a bath for 6 weeks afterward, so there is no bath stuff. So far I got slippers, pedicure stuff, nail polish, scented powder, face mask cream, shower gel, loofa.....

I am trying to think of more things to put in it for her, but I can't think of anything else. I have already spent about $40, and I can't really spend much more. I just want to put a few more things in there to fill the basket.

Any ideas?

sleep mask

Great DVDs for her to watch on those long nights

A great throw

Popcorn

Paper plates and cups and plastic tableware (those first few weeks will be all about NOT cleaning if at all possible!!)
Reply:I have an idea that is free.

Start a Baby Memory Book for her at iMemoryBook. It is free to start right now and she will love it.
Reply:How about an inexpensive little massage tool? They're only a couple bucks at the store. And a couple little scent sprays, yet only a couple bucks. Write her a note and tell her you think she'll be a great mom. I'm sure the note will mean just as much, if not more, than all the little items in the basket. Also, great idea. You are a good friend. :)
Reply:how about a "new/mother's survival kit", check these links:

Reply:A know it's nice to be pamperd but, what about food. Gourmet chocolates. My fav are chocolate coverd pretzels. Maybe a foot spa. How about a homemade free babysitting card(one free pass) something silly like that. Have you gotten for the baby yet? Matching T shirts lol. I know some people don't buy there expensive shampoo/conditioner, maybe that could be a treat. Maybe a new pocket book. some jewlery. perfume.lotion new makeup, face lotion, mud mask I hope I helped out a little
Reply:what about magazines, crossword puzzles or word search books.
Reply:Sure can give her and IOU for 3 or more hours where she can go put her feet up head down and you take care of baby, housework and prepare a easy meal for her later on. Reckon you will be her best friend ever
Reply:A gift card to a salon or to get a massage. A relaxation book would be a good idea, especially if she is a first time mom.
Reply:Body spray! Hair bows!
Reply:a few little nibblie lollies to suck on to bring back up her sugar levels will breastfeeding also to take her mind of the pain of breastfeeding...lol. a nice razor. or acoulple of pretty pairs of underwear...they always come in handy.
