Ideas so far are books (such as What to Expect When You're Expecting) and a foot massager.
What are the best things to put in a gift basket for expecting mothers?
Lotions %26amp; Bubble baths are good. I would also throw in maybe one of those Tide stain remover pens - they work wonders for spit up and other various spills, lol. Educational books are good too, but I would throw in a funny one - like Belly Laughs by Jenny Macarthy (spelling?), which is pretty humorous for a nervous pregnant woman. Also, maybe some homemade coupons for various things, such as a free night of babysitting or a free homecooked meal.
Well, I hope I helped! :)
Reply:What about coupons/gift cards for delivery pizza?? Bet that will come in handy!!
Reply:Receiving blankets. You can go through a dozen in a day, if you have a good spitter-upper.
Reply:Lotions for her skin, comfortable slippers, little snacks like jelly beans or chocolate covered peanuts or raisins, a subscription to a Parenting magazine or Pregnancy magazine (depending on how far along she is), a journal and pretty pen to write with.
Reply:Shower gels and bubble baths for her to use after the baby is born of course.. Gift certificates to a spa or hair salon... Refreshing candles... Things like that..
Reply:one thing i learned. clothe, but not just newborn clothe, babies out grow clothe quick. trying getting 3 6 months sizes.
Reply:you could put in some nice bubble bath, lotion, foot soaking salts and foot cream.
maybe herbal tea and a nice mug?
what about those books you can get from places like hallmark or other card shops/bookstores, where there are a whole bunch of questions in it and the mother answers the questions. it's a gift to give the kid when he/she is older?
a cd of relaxing music?
Reply:Gift certificate for Babies R Us, Also one for a local bookstore. Along with a fresh friut basket YUM! Want my address? lol!
Reply:How about some relaxing Cd's that she could listen to. Then add some candles and a maybe some body lotion to help with stretch marks.
