I would appreciate help with some ideas! I have the usual gift certificates to restaurants, video rentals, florists, candy, popcorn, wine glasses, etc. What else could I include that would make for a great date? Thanks for your help!
I need ideas for a "date night" gift basket to be raffled at our summer picnic!?
wine and cheese and some fruit
Reply:Check out the selection at Wine Country Gift Baskets. Not to buy, but for ideas about what to put in the perfect basket. They have a great selection for many different tastes.
Reply:I"ve made one using wine, cheeses,2 wine glasses loaf of french bread, book of poems, nice things for soaking in the tub.Maybe a candle and a nice music C D would be nice too.
Reply:The "wow!" factor is related to the presentation. Get a wonderful prsentation container - basket, pail, ice chest, fishing basket - something large enough, colorful enough, and fun. Use some filler like fruit, shredded celophane, or whatever, to display the fun stuff. Wrap the whole thing in large sheets of cellophane, ribbons and helium ballons. Think big, think wow. Have fun!
Reply:I've done a basket for a romantic night in. I include stuff for dinner, spaghetti, bottle of sauce, French bread, bottle of wine and a romantic movie for after dinner.
Reply:How about a beach ball and sunscreen
Reply:get a coupon book ... they have them at Spencer's Gifts a lot...they are filled with things like good for a backrub, etc. Also what about a mini photo album to capture the cute moments from the date with a disposable polaroid camera. I think it would be funny to add breath spray, listerene or gum...
Reply:gas card!
