What would be a good Christmas gift for my daughter's (wonderful)caregiver?

I've thought about a dayspa gift certificate or gift basket filled with things she likes.... Any thoughts?

What would be a good Christmas gift for my daughter's (wonderful)caregiver?
give her money im a caregiver also and we dont make squat. lol so cash is always very much appreciated
Reply:My daughter was a day care provider for years...For several years in a row, all the parents of the children she cared for got together and pooled their money to buy her something really nice she would never have bought for herself, nor could they have afforded alone. Once they bought her a weekend alone with her husband at a nearby resort, and provided care in their homes for her 3 children. It is something she has never forgotten.
Reply:The dayspa gift certificate is a good idea! Also a good idea is a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. I was a child care provider and preschool teacher for 30 years and a lot of the parents gave me coffee mugs with Christmasy pictures on them therefore, I had about 20 mugs in my cabinet that were all Christmas themed. One year a very nice family gave me a beautiful balsam wreath. I also got 2 dozen long stem red roses from one family that I really enjoyed. Last year I got a nice pair of earrings from a family that I had taken care of all four of their children throughout the years. But, I will have to say the best gift is being remembered at the holidays!
Reply:this site has great Christmas gift ideas for this season
