Food gift basket for boyfriend?

My boyfriend is going on a trip with his dad to mexico next month,and he wont be back till sunday he saids he's going to bring something back for me, and I want to make a food gift basket for him to take with him, any ideas, of what I can make.Thanks, or what I can put in there that doesnt cost that much

Food basket might not be a good idea.Don't think some stuff can go across the border.He might not be too happy if he gets stopped and hasseled.Better to make a package with non food items like a card(I miss you)a disposable camara,a phone card for use from Mexico,stuff like that.

Reply:Power bars, honey roasted peanuts in packets. Chocolate will melt, so avoid it. Trail mix. Some sort of dried fruit snack like craisins? Dentyne Ice. You are so nice to him...
Reply:bake him some yummy cookies and brownies, and put his favorite soda/drink in there too! a "coupon" for a back massage wont hurt either :-)
