I need to make a gift basket for a Chinese Auction. Got any really unique ideas?

Our school does these at every festival:





1) Baby - wipes, lotions, toys, blanket, photo album





2) Car Wash - soap, sponges, bucket, chammis, wax





3) Scrapbooking - small album, stickers, scissors, papers





4) Spa - lotion, manicure items, bath salts, mask





5) Travel - inflatable pillow, map, gas card, passport holder, disposable camera





6) Crafts - paper, stickers, glue, craft-sticks, ribbon





7) Cookies - dough mix, frosting, candies to decorate





8) Birthday Party - cake mix/pan, frosting, hats/horns/streamers/balloons, generic card and wrapping paper.





9) Toolbox - use an actual tool-box! Hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, nails/screws, duct tape, measuring tape, picture hanging hooks/wire





10) Breakfast in Bed - use a tray/shallow basket - coffee cup, plate/bowl, bud vase for flower, muffin mix, package of premium coffee, magazine/puzzle book, pretty napkin





11) Sports Fan - pick a team! jersey/shirt, mug, foam finger, cup holder, key ring, tickets if they fit the budget.





12) Wine and cheese/fruit/crackers, small plates/cutting board, glasses.

we had a chinese auction at work recently. one basket had a couple of movies, some popcorn, cola %26amp; a huge bag of m%26amp; m's. another basket had the same, except it had theater passes instead of the movies

Fill a big basket with handles for weeding, fill it with a nice watering can, garden gloves, seeds, flower bulbs, a decorative, flower pot, hand tools. transplanting pots, an ornamental birdhouse decoration, gardeners hand cream, etc....tie it with raffia or ribbon depicting gadening or the outdoors.
