What kind of gift basket can I creat for a co-worker?

I have a co-worker who is a retired librarian, that only eats orgainc food and that will be turning 71 years old. I want to create a basket instead of buying something from the store. Her birthday is tom. 4/18/07

What kind of gift basket can I creat for a co-worker?
Try giving tickets to a up coming concert or a day pass to a country home or the like, at 71 she may have an interest in music of days gone by,

How much do you know about her?,what interests does she have? what type of person is she just because she is 71 doesn't mean she has to do old people things.

And then there is always the basket that will be the normal, hand/body cream, sprays etc:

How about gardening is she interested in it if so a nice basket full of gardening stuff may be in order and you can normally find different stuff at a good garden centre basket and all that can be used afterwards.

Good Luck
Reply:I would do something like a fruit basket, if she loves to cook then something for the kitchen (a mixing bowl, some whole grain org. pasta, canned tomatoes) and so on. You can use your imagination after you have learnt of her interest(s). Good luck.
Reply:Maybe you can make a pretty basket with potpurri, some bubble bath, bath salts, etc. or you can give her a gift card for a health food store. Also, you can make a basket with some organic tea bags and crackers, with a mug or a tea kettle. If I knew her, I would try to help more.
Reply:If she was a librarian, she must love books! Get her a gift card to a Barnes and Noble or Borders. Get her a large, pretty tea mug, and an assortment of organic teas, and maybe some organic type snacks.
Reply:If it's not too late, perhaps you could get a windowsill garden box (as the basket) and arrange in it a bag of organic fertilizer, seeds for herbs like parlsey, cilantro, basil, or whatever will grow well in your area, and a few small tools to work with in the box. You should be able to do this for as little as $20 or so, or spend even more if you prefer (since you didn't indicate a budget).
