What are some not too expensive ideas of Christmas gift baskets I can make for my teachers & friends?

Preferrably the gift baskets should have at least 5 -8 items in it

heres a good basket idea for friends and your teachers


movie night basket- either a movie (walmart has bins of $5 movies) or gift card to Blockbuster, some microwave popcorn, different candy, and some bottles of soda all wrapped in a plastic popcorn bowl. you can get most of the stuff from the dollar store- bowls, candy, sodas, chips, shrink wrap bags, tissue paper, curling ribbon.

bath and body products are good too but they will be more expensive.


Look online fore gift baskets and see what other ideas you get.

Reply:Go to Walmart or a dollar store and get a basket. Go to supermarket and put in fruit. Tie a Red Ribbon and bow around handle of basket. Go get it and merry Christmas.
Reply:You can also go to places that carry sample size products of food and make up a biscuit/cracker and cheese basket for not much. Often they even have small bottles of wine or bubbly. You can make a nice basket for about $12.
Reply:Good ideas for people of any age are:


-Scented candles (they can be the small shaped tea ones or larger sizes)


-Holiday socks (with Santas, reindeer, snowlfakes, Ho Ho Ho!, etc..Wal*Mart and other stores usually always have them in stock this time of year and they're very cheap, usually less than a dollar a pair)


-Candy (buy a big package and evenly distrubute between baskets)


-Cookies (Betty Crocker cookie dough that comes in packages sold at Wal*Mart makes delicious cookies and is extremely cheap..I think it's about $1.50 a package..either 2 or 3 dozen cookies)


-Candy canes


-Small stockings


-Cocoa mix (buy a box of hot chocolate mix and put one package in each basket)


-"Snowman poop"..look it up on Google, very cute


-Holiday pencils


-Holiday stickers


-Gloves, toboggans, etc. etc.
