depends on the price!
Reply:I told a friend to do just this, this past winter. I told her to put together gift baskets for like secretaries day, valentines day, birthdays, saint patties day, etc.
Plus she makes awesome home made cookies and I told her she should make up different cookie baskets. She couldn't see it working so she never did it. I personally know that people would pay 8.95 or so for a small basket of 6 of her cookies. Easy $5 profit per basket and that is a small.
You can do fancy baskets with wine, glasses, cork remover, etc.
You can do new born baskets, for those that just had a child.
You can do candle baskets of multiple small candles of scents.
You can do a barbie doll basket for a 10 yr olds birthday.
You can do a muffin/cookie/candy basket.
You can do a welcome to the neighborhood/new job basket.
You can do a mans birthday basket of 4 ties.
The ideas can almost be endless.
Many people in todays hurry up world have no time to take the time to shop for a gift. A quick easy basket gift that either fits an occasion or can be personalized I think would go over well if named right.
Back at valentines day I saw a ton of commericals for some conn. bear or something or other. Since it was simple, easy to do, and a fair price, I bet they got swamped in sales.

Reply:Yes, although it sounds more convinient to have a land location for this business rather than ebay.
Reply:Probably not, I live in a small town and at least twenty places have gift baskets. You can more or less make them up yourself,I do. I wouldn't pay S%26amp;H for one from EBAY.
Reply:Pack your stuff in Longaberger baskets.
Reply:Nice idea; not sure I'd but from Flea Bay...try Amazon Marketplace, its got a better reputation.
Reply:depends on the person and the items like somepeople love things to do with baths
Reply:Personally, I wouldn't buy gift baskets. I've worked on ebay for the past two years and I personally wouldn't recommend selling those particular items there. This is due to the weight, and people don't tend to search for them all that much. Of course, you would sell a few, but I doubt your profit would outweigh your fees by much.
Have you tried asking at all your local flower shop, or wine shops to display your card. Maybe go in and ask them if they could advertise your products or work on a commission basis. Cross-promoting is one of the best ways.
Reply:no!
Reply:nope
because i don't even know what a "gift basket " is
but
that doesn't mean other people wouldn't buy them
have you tried searching ebay's "completed listings" to see who has successfully sold these in the past
(you need a valid user id for ebay to do that search - it's greyed out if you are not logged in)
