I've been wanting to start a gift basket business but do people still buy them? is it kind of played out?

Reply:yes and if you start a gift basket business suggest you offer a variety of prices and products. don't forget there are a lot of senior citizens out there and you might consider a senior citizen discount and/or discounts if the buy like 3 or more at the same time.

Reply:It's a VERY competitive industry. I used to work for a corporate gifting company and we had hundreds of vendors. There's lots of people still doing it, but it's pretty competitive. If you have an "angle" or a niche to fill, you'll do fine, though.

Reply:Yes people do still buy them....but I think you need to have a unique idea....don't do the same old stuff like candles, wine, lotions, food, etc......good luck!
