How can i advertise my adorable gift baskets to the public?

im trying to start up a small gift basket business from my home...i know my adorable baskets will sell i just dont know how to advertise them to the public...please help

You may want to start with going to some local businesses. For instance I am a real estate agent, and we are always giving away gift baskets for open houses, raffles, and to clients. Try making up some flyers and taking them to Real Estate Agents. You may also want to take some into some mortgage brokers offices. They sometimes send out some gifts to people who take their loans.
Reply:Consignment shops are a good way to start. If they sell there you can then think about opening your own shop.

Reply:Myspace...this is something that almost everyone has, so you can make a page advertising your baskets then friend request people...make sure if you do this that you set your page to public view so that everyone can see you baskets!
Reply:Ebay is a given, but be careful as there are alot of people that will try and scam you on there.


Alot of supermarkets have places where you can put up ads.


Newspapers and some local tv stations can run ads cheaply.


Also I know my mom recently got some free business cards printed at the microsoft website. I dont have the link so you may have to do some searching but it would be worth it. Hope that helps some ^_^
Reply:Go into subdivision and leave flyer's on mailboxes.





Drive through subdivisions and get the address and send out your own mailers. Postal officer mailers are very expensive.





Get local business to allow your card to be displayed at check-out counters.





Start your own internet site.





Some mom/pop cafes will allow you to leave a sample gift basket in their establishment for advertisement.





Florist also might let you leave samples with them for a small fee.
Reply:Leasing offices will sometimes give new tenant gifts. You might try getting a page of ads from local business', charge them for the ad, depending on how many pages you will be distributing. Then offer the ad pages and gift baskets to the apartment complexes for free. You make your money from ads and the gift baskets open the door for the ad sheets. dsr
Reply:Have you checked out the EBAY site? You can actually start up a store and people from all over the world can shop there. Ebay's does have fees but they are very reasonable, at least I think so.
